Dear all community members,
In order to appreciate the support from the whole community and
celebrate the end of this semester, DCSSA will organize “Chinese
community appreciation weekend” on this weekend. The activity consists
of two parts.
1. Community appreciation picnic
Time: May 7th, Saturday 1p.m.-4p.m.,
Place: Duke Garden: the terrace gardens and south lawn. (Direction is
at the end of this letter)
Food: Free Drinks, snacks, fruits and some other food will be provided by DCSSA
Games: volleyball, football, badminton, and frisbee.
Talk to friends and relax!
2. Chinese movie night
Time: May 8th, Sunday 7:30pm
Place: Gross Chemistry building 107
Titles: 1. “Kong que”
2. “Xin ji chi bu liao re dou fu”
Bonus: Membership service and membership card distribution.
This activity is also a “Thank you” from the committee under
president Jiayu’s leadership as well as a “welcome” for the new
committee. Thank you for your support of DCSSA this year and we hope
you will continue to pay attention to us in the coming year!

Detailed directions:
Take the main entrance on Anderson street, pass one parking lot on
your left and another one on your right, then enter the small door, a
big lawn circle with radius around 12m is in front of you. There are
two branches behind. take the left one, keep walking, pass another
small circle(no grass), then Terrace garden and south lawn is on your
right. See you there!
