在几届DCSSA主席，本届执委会成员的共同努力下，杜克大学中国学生学者互助基金会（DCSS Helping Foundation）于今年二月正式成立。杜克大学中国学生学者互助基金会是基于杜克大学中国学生学者联合会（DCSSA）的，注册于美国北卡州的非营利组织，其主要目标是与DCSSA一块更好的服务于杜克华人社区。我们主要的工作目标是通过募集捐款，招募志愿者的方式，为有需要的杜克华人社区的个人或群体提供帮助。由于基金会刚刚成立，很多工作还在进一步完善中。
DCSSA 首届厨艺大赛
Tuesday, April 16th, 20134月12日晚，DCSSA首届厨艺大赛于Gross Chem Lab大厅隆重举行。本届大赛旨在宣传中华美食文化，丰富杜克华人业余生活，以佳肴会友增进交流沟通，受到了学生学者的热烈欢迎与积极响应。最终十一名参赛选手（或团队）各展绝技，带来了名副其实的美食之夜。
